Among the Association’s initiatives is the appointment of a Recreational Director who will plan a wide variety activities for residents.

Public Schools
Enka High School, Enka Middle School, and the newly constructed Hominy Valley Elementary School are adjacent to Biltmore Lake.  Biltmore lake is close to many opportunities for higher education as well. Area colleges include the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Warren Wilson College, Brevard College, and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

The Retail Village at Biltmore Lake is located on Sand Hill Road and planned for up to 200,000 SF of neighborhood shopping including the existing Post Office and Library. The retail village is being developed by Fletcher Partners, Inc.
