Please Note: Lakes in the Foothills or
Piedmont Area (Lime Green) of the Blue Ridge Mountains are of lower
elevation than those Lakes in the Blue Ridge Mountain proper
((Pale-Darker Green). Lower Elevation means warmer
temperatures in the summer. However, elevations
depicted are for Lake or water Levels. Surrounding acerage is
generally from Lake Level to +1,500 ft - 2,000 ft which generally
translates to 5-10 degrees cooler in the summers.

Eagle's
Nest Lake
| Just 1.25 hrs. (45 miles) from Asheville, Eagle's
Nest Lake is located in the town of Dunns Rock, NC, in the
county of Transylvania. Even closer, it's just 15 minutes from
Brevard, and a few miles southwest of Hendersonville.
The lake itself is one of North Carolina's most private and
prettiest lakes, though much smaller in size, roughly about 60
acres. When properties are available, Eagle Lake is a preferred setting with fine Homes
and some lots, many directly bordering the waterfront itself. Homes prices
range from the high $500,000s to over $2,000,000.
Lots in the $100,000s are at times available overseeing the lake itself.

Development consists of a series of small, private communities,
each carefully fitted to the natural landscape on 3200 acres
surrounding the 438-acre Lake Adger and its 14.5 miles of
pristine, unspoiled wooded shoreline. The waterfront of the
Lake Adger Community has been developed, to date, into 154
waterfront lots, of which 154 have dock permit privileges. The

acreage tracts of 5 to 25 acres each, most adjoining Lake Adger
Trails equestrian and nature path, which meanders around Lake

Lake Junaluska
| Just 35 min. (27 miles) from Asheville and
directly adjacent to Waynesville which offers a fabulous,old-fashioned Rockwellian Main Street lined with fine exquisite

Junaluska within a thriving community that is the gateway to the Great Smokey

Just 50 min. (42 miles) from Asheville, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, not too far from
the small towns of Tyron NC and Landrum SC is a secluded private lake built
which was built in the
1920s called Lake Lanier. Both for vacation and
fulltime living, lakeshore properties nestled themselves up into the surrounding

Just 1 hr. (44 miles) from downtown Asheville,
the
720-acre Lake Lure with its 20-mile shoreline has a full-time
community population of 1,000, with as many as 10,000 visitors throughout the tourist
season (Memorial Day through November 1), was created
in 1926. Lake
Lure is still heavily wooded, and the scale of most residences, lakeside villas
and cottages, is appropriate and quietly refined for mountain living. It is
a quiet, safe lake---loved for fishing, water sports, and peaceful sunset
cruises. Water skiing is allowed during the day, but by town ordinance the
entire lake (which is town-owned and regulated) is a no-wake zone from an hour
past sunset to an hour before dawn. And apart from a dozen grandfathered
exceptions, jet skis are forbidden!

Lake Summit |
Just 50 min. (32 miles) from Asheville, Lake
Summit is a semi-private lake in the quaint and small mountain village of
Tuxedo, NC, and south of Hendersonville, NC. In an area
renowned for summer camp settings and many memories, hiking trails, wide open spaces, all
surrounded by scenic vistas of mountain splendor and hidden forests, this small
lake of mirror calm waters has been the ideal location for summer homes for many
North Carolina families for generations. Prices are hard to estimate as

| Just 1.5 hrs (48 miles) from
Asheville, families have been drawn to the

when the Fords, Edisons and Rockefellers came by private railroad car. But this
largest private body of water in the mountains of Western North Carolina did not
