From our first phone call to you until the receiving of our keys to our new home, your professional attitude of finding the right home for the right person took over. The result for us working with you Kathleen, we were impressed at the skill you have to organize yourself to have most answers right at your finger tips or just a phone call away. This was a delight because going through the process of buying a home has at times its moments when speed can be of the essence. As in our case of the home we bought just coming on the market as we were searching through the multiple listings with you on your computer. We had our move from Texas planned out to the last detail. We were moving a
home Stained Glass Business, 3 dogs and a 16 year old boy. Then... our house in
Texas sold the first day it was on the market and the buyer wanted to close
within 30 days. We had 5 days to find a home in Madison County North Carolina.
Before we even arrived in N.C. Kathleen Blanchette, had begun looking for a
house that would meet our needs. She faxed us several properties to look at and
checked the listings every day sending us any that might meet our criteria. We
had an appointment with Kathleen on Monday morning. Her state of the art
equipment in the office allowed her to show us picture and descriptions of what
was available. This was very important because we didn't have time to drive out
and look at properties that would not meet our needs.
We had questions about resale value of our home as we plan to build on some land we bought. Kathleen helped us to choose properties that would increase in vale, Kathleen Blanchette is a true professional. The way she spoke to people and set up appointments was a true testament to her professionalism. She was always straight forward and concise, making sure that we were making the most of our limited time. We found the perfect home for us; It had to have yard space for the dogs, it had to have a mother-in-law plan for the teenager, and it had to have space for a home business.
The only problem was that while we were writing up our offer another person got their bid in before us. We were devastated, we had 4 days left to find a home. Kathleen stayed on top of the situation, there were questions about the bidders financing, made calls and consulted with other professionals to make sure she helped us to do everything in our power to make this work. It became apparent, we had to start our search over.
Kathleen got back on the computer and with two days left, found us another property that was even more perfect than the first one. Her professionalism and knowledge allowed us to formulate an appropriate bid and secure a contract on our dream home. Of course it didn't end there, we had a few problems when the inspection came back.
Kathleen helped us to have those corrected to our satisfaction. She went out of her way to make it a smooth move. We have already recommended her to a friend who will be moving to this area next year.
